New Year’s Retreat with Lewis Mehl-Madrona in Tucson

While not exactly writing-related, I’m organizing a retreat with Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, author of Coyote Medicine, Coyote Wisdom, Coyote Healing, and Healing the Mind Through the Power of Story:The Promise of Narrative Psychiatry. (Book info here.) It’s a two-part retreat in Tucson, AZ from Dec. 27th-Jan1st. The first session will be on Narrative Medicine (an indigenous approach to psychiatry and medicine) and the second will be about Cherokee Bodywork (an indigenous method of healing.)

I attended a similar retreat this past May at Kripalu and can’t say enough good things about Lewis, his co-teacher Barb, my fellow attendees, and the healing work we learned and did for each other. So if you’re looking for a few days of retreat and renewal to bring in the New Year, come on down. There will be horses involved as well.

Complete details, including schedule, pricing and guest information, is available here.

So the good news is, Loose Id has accepted the sequel to CAPRIOLE called LEVADE. I mailed the contract out a couple days ago, so, hooray! I’m also about 3/4 done with a related M/M/F book, which will hopefully be accepted as well.

Though Loose Id was having some server issues and are going to upgrade their site very soon, but in the meantime, most books and authors aren’t available directly from their site. You can find my books at: Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
